Gavin Barill

Welcome!

My name is Gavin and I am a PhD candidate at McGill University's Department of Mathematics and Statistics, supervised by Professor Jessica Lin. 

Teaching is my passion and my career goal is to teach at the college level.

My PhD research focuses on using techniques from partial differential equations to solve problems from probability.

Before joining McGill, I completed an honours BSc in mathematics and computer science and an MSc in computer science at the University of Toronto. My master's was supervised by Professors Alec Jacobson and David I. W. Levin.
